AirBnb guests can't say enough good things about bcs villas
It pains me to write a bad review but I feel like this one is necessary. Everything about the house was amazing. Great location, great amenities, great chefs, great housekeepers and concierge. Rafi and Lorena made it easy to communicate with them and arrange activities and transportation as needed.
Now when we first arrived to the house we found there was dust everywhere from fresh construction and one of the bed sheets had blood on it. No big deal. The housekeepers were actively cleaning and the linens got changed immediately.
However, due to unfortunate events when we returned home from being out on a boat all day we found ourselves sitting outside without power or running water. When we reached out to the owner and Airbnb and voiced our concerns about how we unfortunately missed our dinner scheduled for that night due to not being able to get ready and the concern that we had about our perishables in the fridge going bad because according to the owner, “the power had been going out all day,” the response we had was him showing up to our door at 1030pm with a rollaway I’ve chest. He told us he was there to take our perishables, pay us for them, and give them away to the first “homeless” person he had. At this point the power has returned so we had already voiced to Airbnb that we were not worried about the perishables.
We asked him if there could be any compensation for the missed dinner and the uncomfortableness we experienced those two hrs outside in the dark without even being able to use the restroom and his response was, “well there’s a pool, you can get water from the pool to flush your toilets.”
He was also very adamant as to why he should have to reimburse us for anything and that we should reimburse him for having to leave his 500$ dinner to come collect our perishables.
The entire conversation was uncomfortable and we knew we were getting no where. Unfortunately it didn’t end there.
He continued to insult us through messages saying we’re the only unhappy ones on all of cabo and things such as we didn’t need to shower to go to dinner.
Such a bummer because it really was a great place but the experience of dealing with Mark the owner just made it all sour.
