Let me start by saying we had high hopes and expectations to begin with for our first trip since the pandemic began, and this property and its hosts exceeded it!
From the beginning, the owners and property managers were extremely good and communicating with us before and during our stay. We had a minor hiccup at the airport when someone mistakenly took our ride. But Veronica was able to take care of it and get our ride to us as quickly as it was “stolen”.
The house! It was open and airy and more than enough room for 7 adults. And the pictures do not give the view justice! We took advantage of the tequila tasting and the private chef one of the days and I must say it is worth it! We also had a housekeep who came everyday. She was the sweetest and made sure we had a happy and clean home. Rodolfo and Veronica we always on hand to make sure that everything went smoothly.
I recommend stocking the house with groceries before hand so that you can start your vacation right away!
*pro tip: do the COVID testing in house. It’s a little bit more money but so worth it with the convenience. The tech came in and was extremely considerate and gentle with the test. We had our results later that day and didn’t have to stress about going to the airport early and doing it.
I can’t recommend this place enough. It made my 40th bday extremely memorable and we can’t wait to come back to the Toro Rojo again!
